Espen Nordahl Espen is a keen telemark ski-mountaineer and has guided many trips for the Norwegian mountaineering association. He is also a qualified glacier instructor and regularly instructs glacier courses and avalanche awareness courses in Lyngen. Espen has skied and climbed in Tromsø, Lyngen and Lofoten and has also organized and participated in ski-mountaineering expeditions to the Alps, East-Greenland, Turkey, Morocco and the Canadian Rockies. He has also worked as a trekking-guide in Svalbard and is the author of many articles from his mountain adventures. He is also a partner in the guiding company “Midnight Sun Mountain Guides” based in Tromsø, which offers ski touring / mountaineering, avalanche and glacier courses. (www.msmg.org).
Gro Mette Meyer Gro Mette has many years experience from telemark skiing in Northern Norway and the Alps. In 1998 she skied the length of Norway from south to north. In 2000 she crossed Greenland’s ice cap from east to west by ski, pulk, and ski-sail, and in 2002 she completed a ski traverse from north to south across Spitsbergen. She regularly gives slide shows and talks from her expeditions, and motivation seminars for companies. Heidi Berg Heidi has many years telemark experience in Northern Norway especially in Lyngen and Lofoten. She has also participated in two skiing expeditions to the Canadian Rockies and one to East Greenland. In addition she has numerous skiing and trekking trips to Austria, Switzerland, and France. Heidi is a keen and skilled amateur photographer and has contributed with pictures to the Lofoten nature calendar. Marzena Kaczmarska Marzena, is the Polish team member, a keen telemark skier and mountaineer. She has climbed in Bolivia and the European Alps, and trekked in Nepal. As a glaciologist she has spent 2 field seasons in the Antarctic for the Norwegian Polar Institute and also worked at the Polish research station in Svalbard. Harvey Goodwin 
Harvey began mountaineering in Scotland being a keen climber both in summer and winter. In 1994 he moved to Tromsø to concentrate on winter mountaineering and telemark skiing. He is a qualified glacier instructor for the Norwegian mountaineering association and regularly instructs glacier courses and avalanche awareness courses in Lyngen. Harvey has skied extensively in Tromsø and Lyngen and has also participated in expeditions to the Antarctic, Svalbard, Bolivia, and the Alps, and trekking in India and Nepal. He is also a partner in the guiding company “Midnight Sun Mountain Guides” based in Tromsø. (www.msmg.org) Kjell Søiland Kjell has been active in the mountains, summer and winter, since he was a child. He has walked, skied and climbed extensively throughout Norway. He has been mountaineering in Svalbard, Nepal, Bolivia, the Alps, and New Zealand, and climbed in Corsica, Indonesia and Thailand. He is a qualified climbing and glacier instructor for the Norwegian mountaineering association and regularly instructs climbing, mountaineering and glacier courses in Norway. Truls Grytting Truls is an expert telemark skier, previously a competition skier at national level. He is also an alpinist and has many years experience from ski mountaineering in Tromsø and Lyngen. He has also led numerous mountaineering tours for the Tromsø Mountaineering Club. Truls has also participated in a number of skiing expeditions to Canada and Svalbard including a north-south traverse, and numerous ski trips to the European Alps Bjørn Eines Bjørn has skied extensively in Northern Norway and participated in skiing expeditions to Canada, and East Greenland. He also has numerous ski trips to the European Alps. |
